Worlds

"Each friend represents a different world within us, a world possibly not born until they arrive and it is only by meeting that a new world is born"
This quote lead me to wonder, what happens to that world when your friendship ends? Does it become uninhabitable because of emotional pollution and reisdue of harsh words?
Do we destroy worlds within us when a frienship ends?
Or do we just grow out of that world? Is it still a part of us but just not as prominant as before?
I think that once a world within us is created it is impossible to destroy, it always effects us and is a part of who we are. But perhaps when the freinship is over it's a part of us in the way that is minimal, hidden, or not apparent. Perhaps its a part of us in the sense we've learned lessons from that person.
But what happens when we try to purposely destroy that world? Is that even possible, is that just the equivalent of not accepting ourself?
When we don't accept ourself maybe its just us not accepting the part of us we don't like and the part of us we don't like is just certain worlds. Do we cut people out who show us a part of ourselve we don't like?

So today on my browser there was a little blurb about "The Worst Lyrics Ever" my curiousity engaged me click and what I found was not what I expected, I found James Blunt. Personally I love James Blunt but that aside if I ever heard the song "Your Beautiful" I would disagree. The following is what they wrote,

"You're beautiful
You're beautiful
You're beautiful
It's true"
--James Blunt, "You're Beautiful"

James, James, James. The art of lyrics is in taking something universal you want to say (e.g. "I love you") and creatively saying it so that it is fresh and new, yet touches on the original universality of the feeling ("You complete me.") Not just coming out and saying it. That's just lame. No matter how many times you repeat it.

First off Ben, Ben, Ben, have you ever heard of a poetic device? I'm guessing not, jsyk buddy repition is one of them hence what James Blunt is doing. REPTITION. And if you look at your disgraceful little blurb you bumbling moron you would see that you too used repition, HYPOTCRIT!
Also I'm guessing with the way you like to beat around the bush you've never loved a women so you clearly don't understand that with women who don't think they're beautiful they need to hear they are beautiful A LOT. So its looking like James: 2 Ben: 0.

As well, not all songs have to creatively say something in a "fresh and new" way, sometimes the beauty is in the obvious (as Shane Koyzan would say) and stating the obvious is the most beautiful thing you could od. As well HOW THE HELL WOULD YOU KNOW? Do you write songs or are you just another little bitch boy hiding behind your computer critizing other peoples hard work and deidication because your jelous and have no real talent?
So suck it Mr. Carrozza.

Furthermore he decided to critize Starship, this is what he wrote,

"We built this city on rock and roll."

--Starship, "We Built This City"

No, Starship, not with lyrics like that you didn't.

HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A CLASSIC!?! You freaking idiot! It's part of the chorus! I will give you this is not the most poetic of songs with the most creative lyrics but its a CLASSIC!
Why is it a classic?
Because its catchy and fun to listen to, people want to dance to this music and perhaps it even inspires some. How much do you want to bet you've never positively inspired anyone in all of your career? True you inspired me to want to throw rocks at you but I'm not sure if you should be proud of that.
So people who actually creat good music: 3 Ben the idiot: 0 ohhh sorry bud. Looks like your a loser, oh I mean loosing...

This is what he wrote next,
"I would do anything for love
But I won't do that."
--Meatloaf, "I'd Do Anything for Love"

Won't do what, Meatloaf? Eat another party-size sub alone in the dark and cry yourself to sleep? We all know that would be a lie.

Now truth be told I don't know this song very well but what pissed me off here was that he commented on this man's weight. WHAT A FREAKING A**HOLE! I thought he was supposed to be critizing their lyrics not their appearances, which is just furtherproof he's never been with a women. You know what, maybe or maybe this man has struggled with weight-loss and if he has who are you to point it out? If its been a problem for him he's probably gone through enough. You are no better than a snide seventh grade girl who gets a high off of making other people feel bad about themselves.
Also ever hear of appriciating people for who they are? Cleary you havent so maybe you should go alone in teh dark and cry yourself to sleep because I can't imagine anyone who would want to keep someone as rude as you around.

Next he decided to pick on J-Biebs,

"You know you love me, I know you care,
Just shout whenever, And I'll be there.
You are my love, You are my heart,
And we will never ever-ever be apart."
--Justin Bieber, "Baby"

Wow, what junior high school binder did you copy these lyrics off of, guys? How condescending can you be? You know, it's insulting that you think the listening public would tolerate drivel that sounds like it was written for 8-year-old girls. Oh... riiiiiiight...

HONESTLY?! How condescending can YOU be?! A lot of peopole give him heat but you know what he's got talent? Hence why he gets interviewed by Ellen and you don't, hence why millions of girls scream his name and you've probably never been able to even get a women to moan unless you hit her with a tennis ball and it was a moan of pain, hence why Justin Bieber makes more in two seconds than you probabley ever will what with writting for a stupid website where no one a) cares what you write and b) never reads except those who are curious and even then they are disapointed!

So its looking Everyone Else but Ben: 100000000 and Ben: 0

Alright now I'm done, but I was pretty ticked off, hench the harshness of this blog.

Now I will give the loser, oh I mean "Ben" this, when it came to Paris Hilton and the Black Eyed Peas "my humps" I agree, they are pretty aweful songs.

** article by By Ben Carrozza, July 20, 2010, if that's even his real name. I'm guessing not.

A little crazy?

It's occured to me that no one may ever read my blog.
Ever.
And it makes me feel a bit crazy that i'm sending my thoughts and ideas out into cyberspace. I feel like an internet equal of someone who rants on a soapbox but no one ever hears them. With that said I should probably feel like i'm wasting my time but strangely enough I do not.
I kind of like it. Even stranger, I know.
But I suppose there's always gonna be that little part of me that hopes someone will read my blog, even just one person who I make think.
Kind of makes me think of that age old question, if a tree falls a forest and no ones around to hear it does it make a sound?
If a blogger continues to write and no one reads it, does it make a difference?

Ch-Ch-Ch Chaaanges

"...With her delicate soul, I don't claim to know much
Except soon as you start to make room for the parts
That aren't you, it gets harder to bloom in a garden
Of Love..."
A while ago a friend of mine told me she would never change for anyone ever, and I thought, well that's a bit selfish, after all what if your hurting someone? Then shouldn't you change? Thoughts of the same nautre have buzzed in my head ever since then. And whilst at her house "Bottle It Up" by Sara Bareilles comes on and I hear the lyrics above and it made me realize that she right. You can't change for someone you love (romantically or otherwise) because then they can't love YOU back they love someone your not.
If you are ever going to change you have to do it for yourself and not for anyone else.
But even then I'm not so sure about change, its such a strange thing. And it makes me wonder, can we ever really change? Fundamentally aren't we always the same person? Is change just a temporary phase we go through?
Basically, is it possible to change?

Cats and Dogs

So you may wonder what inspired my blog title type mabob, the answer that to say is my cat and dog. Now 90 percent of you have probably stoped reading this because you think I'm going to be another lunatic going to spam the internet with pointless stories of her pets. Well I hope not to become that crazy cat lady with yellow teeth, hair curlers and an ever present housecoat (even in the midst of this 36 degree weather)but none the less my cat and dog did inspire the title for this blog.
If you've ever had a cat and dog under the same roof you might have observed some natural tension, or a lot of natural tension (evolution is a funny thing). I happen to observe this tension quite reguarly, especially between my quite large and slobbery Irish wolfhound (Grizletoft) and my barn cat (Eliza), whilst creating this blog they we're playing a game Grizletoft is so fond of which consists of the wolf seeing if she can fit the entire cat into her mouth (her attempts usually end in failure) but today the cat was a bit feistier and would smack the wolfs face with her claws positioned for attack. Now when trying to intervene I realized out of the two who do I scorn? The dog who was just trying to be friendly or the cat who was trying to defend itself? If this was a court of law Grizletoft would most definitely be punished but I was not so sure if this should be the case. A familiar face just playing around a tad to aggressively but knowing they meant no harm or the friend of said familiar face deciding 'twas not play time.
So henceforth I will try to keep up this blog and talk about the rights and wrongs I find in this world, may that be cats and dogs or you know actual issues or the law or whatever I happen to find unfit inbetween.
I'm not always saying I'll be right but I am saying I'm gonna say what I wish either way.
